The Amitei Bronfman Fellowship was started in 1998, as a companion program to the American Bronfman Youth Fellowships in Israel. Every year, we choose a diverse group of twenty exceptional 11th graders, from all over Israel, for a series of educational seminars on issues pertaining to our Mission values:
- Jewish learning - the serious study of traditional and contemporary Jewish texts as a crucial element in Jewish identity, life, and intellectual and spiritual vitality.
- Pluralism - a commitment to openness, mutual respect, engagement, and dialogue with all Jews.
- Engagement with the Jewish people - a commitment to and connection with all Jews, in Israel and the Diaspora.
- Social Responsibility - acting to make our communities and the world a better, more just place.
The program includes two Mifgashim (Encounters) with our American Fellows and an educational tour of the United States, focusing on North American Jewish life.
